Meridian Marine are in a unique position to offer charter, hire and rental services for commercial hovercraft operations, and landing craft operations. Whilst our craft are maintained on the Essex coast, both of our craft are road transportable for delivery by road to all locations in Great Britain, Ireland and Europe. All our craft operate under the appropiate safety codes of operation governed by the MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency).
Commercial Hovercraft Rental / Charter:
- Interchangeable interior layout (Up to 8 passengers or 1 tonne cargo)
- Fully certificated with MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency) Hi-Speed Code
- Experience in operations in SSSI areas (very low down pressure and vitually zero wash)
- Accessibility to areas impossible with conventional craft or tracked vehicles
- Ability to operate in force 4 winds and wave heights up to 1 metre
- Ability to operate anywhere in Europe with its tailor made road transporter complete with crane
Landing Craft Rental / Charter:
- Movement of cargo up to 5.5 tonnes
- Movement of workforce / passengers to shallow water, beach or shoals
- Engineering services
- 24 hour operations up to 20 miles off shore
- MCA and RYA certificated crew for third party vessel movements
