Paul Gaughan managing director, started Meridian Marine as a commercial operator in the marine charter/rental environment following building successful passenger craft operations on the River Thames.
With the acquisition of United Kingdom's only commercial 1 tonne payload commercial hovercraft and the ability to operate virtually anywhere, and Paul's commitment to support of the United Kingdom's drive towards green energy, with the construction and installation of wind farms around Britain's coastline, Meridian Marine was established to meet the demands of complex civil and marine engineering projects.
Following the initial purchase of a hovercraft to meet the unusual demands, a landing craft was acquired in order to supplement the unique capabilities of the hovercraft. Heavier items requiring transport to areas of shallow or drying locations can now be achieved, or up to 12 passengers transported.
Meridian Marine are proud to have Masters and crew with many years of experience working in the marine environment. All personnel are fully certificated with MCA qualifications with many years of contract experience giving you peace of mind for safe operations.
